A distinctive piece of clothing that was stolen in the raid

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after jewellery, an iPad, a laptop, distinctive cycling clothing and a digital camera were among items stolen from a property.

The Potters Bar raid took place between 11pm on December 31 and 2.30pm on New Year’s Day.

Raiders got into the Oulton Crescent address by climbing over a side gate and removing a pane of glass.

Once inside, the burglars stole a number of items including jewellery, an iPad, a laptop, a digital camera, and distinctive Hardknott cycling clothes.

Police are now appealing to anyone who may have been in the area round this time or may have been offered any distinctive cycle clothing to contact them.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Herts Police via the police non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference number J3/13/2.

Alternatively contact Crimestoppers, an independent charity, on 0800 555 111.
