For a long time I’ve been using Apple’s Logic and Garage Band on my Mac to create and record music.
I’m also a big fan of Garage Band for iOS, it works on both iPad and iPhone. I think one of the main attractions of Garage Band in this environment is its accessibility. No longer do you have to setup with your computer, midi keyboard and all the other bits in order to get an idea down.
I commonly can be found in the lounge or even in bed, headphones on, knocking out a drum track or doing take 147 on that guitar track that I just can’t seem to nail.
So, there’s a new section coming to AppleLive.tv that’s dedicated to creating and recording music on the iPad and iPhone. I’ll share my insights, tips and everything else that I think will be interesting.
To get started taken a listen to a couple of tunes recently recorded, mostly on iPad but some iPhone help in there too!
